John Speed Meyers

John Speed Meyers is head of Chainguard Labs and developer relations at Chainguard, a software supply chain security startup. He previously researched the benefits and risks of massive open source software consumption by the U.S. intelligence community at IQT Labs, the applied R&D lab associated with In-Q-Tel. He holds a PhD in public policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School, an MPA from Princeton University, and a BA in international relations from Tufts University. A recovering think-tank analyst, he combines an interest in empirical computer security and empirical software engineering with a public policy lens. He is also on LinkedIn.
