Nima Gerami

Nima Gerami (LinkedIn) is an independent consultant specializing in nuclear nonproliferation, arms control, and Middle East security. He previously served on the faculty of the U.S. National Defense University’s Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction, where he led a research portfolio spanning nuclear policy, deterrence, risk reduction, and regional security. He also served as a foreign affairs officer in the Office of Chemical and Biological Weapons Affairs, Bureau of Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability, at the U.S. Department of State. He has held visiting fellowships at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the University of Oxford, and is currently a PhD candidate at King’s College London.
