
Yina Lizeth Garcia-Lopez
Yina Lizeth Garcia-Lopez has a Ph.D. in Public Health from Miguel Hernández University, Spain, and a BA in Social Communication and Journalism from The University of North Colombia. She has extensive experience in health education and health communication for disease prevention and control, centering around teenage pregnancy, dengue, and HIV. Her varied experience includes qualitative and quantitative analysis, cross-cultural working, project coordination, team management, and multiple research roles. Her areas of work encompass NGOs, the private and public sectors, and the educational and Third sectors. Passionate about making a difference to the health, well-being, and lives of others, she is currently based in Edinburgh, U.K.
