David Eisenman

David Eisenman, MD, MSHS is a Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine and the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA, where he directs the Center for Public Health and Disasters and is a deputy director in the Center for Healthy Climate Solutions. He studies public health emergencies, including disasters, mass violence, climate change, COVID-19, and community resilience. He has written over one hundred scientific papers, chapters, and major reports. Eisenman is an Associate Natural Scientist at RAND and was previously the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Preparedness Science Officer.
