Kristen Eichensehr

Kristen Eichensehr (@K_Eichensehr) is an Assistant Professor at UCLA School of Law. Her primary research and teaching interests center on cybersecurity, foreign relations, and national security law issues.

Kristen is a graduate of Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, and Yale Law School. Before joining the UCLA faculty, Kristen clerked for Chief Judge Merrick B. Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and for Justices Sandra Day O’Connor and Sonia Sotomayor of the Supreme Court of the United States. She also served as Special Assistant to the Legal Adviser of the U.S. Department of State and practiced at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. Kristen is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a former visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution.

Her recent scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming in the Virginia Law Review, the Georgetown Law Journal, the Texas Law Review, and the American Journal of International Law.
