Ángel Díaz

Ángel Díaz (@angelsdiaz_) is Counsel to the Liberty and National Security Program at New York University Law School’s Brennan Center for Justice. The program seeks to advance effective national security policies that respect constitutional values and the rule of law. His work focuses on the intersection of technology with civil liberties and civil rights. He is active on matters related to online speech and content moderation, and issues related to policing and technology.

Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Mr. Díaz was an Associate at Gunderson Dettmer, where he advised technology startups and venture capital firms on issues related to privacy, information security, and intellectual property.

Mr. Díaz is a graduate of Berkeley Law and the University of California at Berkeley.
