David Del Conte was until recently a senior fellow with the Humanitarian Agenda Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. He is an independent consultant with over two decades of humanitarian experience with the United Nations and NGOs. He served as the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs’ Deputy Country Director for Ethiopia from 2012-2016. He has worked in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Central America. He holds degrees in Politics and International Relations.
