Elena Crespo (@elenaisabellac) is a research consultant with the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) and a master’s in international policy candidate at Stanford University, where she focuses on conflict, human rights, and international security. She earned her BA from Stanford University, where she studied political science and sat on the executive board of Stanford’s largest, student-run policy organization, Stanford in Government. She has previously worked at the U.S. State Department, National Security Action, and at NGOs in Brazil and Myanmar.
