Connor O’Steen is a former Foreign Service Officer and Policy Analyst with experience in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and West Africa, where he worked on human rights and civ-mil relations, refugee protection, and counterterrorism issues. Currently, Connor consults on the evolving U.S.-China relationship and the increasing use of sanctions, trade, and investment restrictions as foreign policy tools. He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
