Brian O’Neill (LinkedIn) is a professor at Georgia Tech’s Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, where he teaches strategic intelligence. He served in the U.S. Intelligence Community for nearly 27 years, including as Deputy Director of Analysis at the National Counterterrorism Center and as Executive Editor of the President’s Daily Brief. His work focused on counterterrorism, East Asia, and emerging technologies, with leadership roles at the CIA, NSA, DoD, and ODNI. As a columnist and editorial contributor, he focuses on intelligence issues, international security, and geopolitics.
