Laura Bingham
Laura Bingham serves as Senior Managing Legal Officer for the equality and inclusion team at the Open Society Justice Initiative (OSJI), an operational program of Open Society Foundations (OSF). She leads OSJI’s projects on the right to citizenship and documentation of identity and equality and antidiscrimination. She also manages the team’s litigation work on the right to citizenship and statelessness, practicing primarily before regional and international fora.
Before joining OSJI, Bingham served as a law clerk in federal district court and worked in private practice in New York. She received a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.A. in human rights law from Central European University in Budapest.
