Clara Apt

Clara Apt (LinkedInX) is a Junior Fellow at Just Security and fourth-year undergraduate student at New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences. She interned for Freedom House’s Technology and Democracy team in the summer of 2024 and previously worked as a research analyst at the U.S. Institute of Peace in 2023. She is pursuing a double major in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. Her interests include climate security and the intersection of emerging technologies and democracy. At New York University, Clara is an editor for the Journal of Political Inquiry, the IR Insider and Afkar.
