Alan Neff (@AlanNeff) is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA, JD, and MS). He recently served as co-editor of The Rule of Law This Week for the American Constitution Society. Previously, he was a Senior Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, where he concentrated his practice in complex civil litigation.

Over the course of his career in academe and practice, Alan Neff has researched and written on a variety of subjects, including federal judicial selection, presidential impeachment, partisan gerrymandering, the Mueller investigation, and international environmental protection. His work has appeared in, among other venues, the New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, the Brennan Center for Justice, Ecology Law Quarterly, the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business, and the American Constitution Society’s Expert Forum Blog. He is also on LinkedIn.
