Layla Abi-Falah is an aspiring human rights lawyer, having just earned her juris doctorate degree with a concentration in International Law from William & Mary Law School in May 2020. Layla also holds a B.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Human Rights in the Middle East & Africa from William & Mary. Layla has had the privilege of working on human rights issues across the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Eastern Europe, working most recently as a legal intern and fellow for Syria Justice and Accountability Centre, the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, and USAID Jordan CITIES Project.
