Artin Afkhami

Artin Afkhami (@artinafkhami) was Associate Editor at Just Security (2017-18). He received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 2017, where he focused on National Security Law and Constitutional Law. He also holds an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. in Middle East Studies from UC Berkeley. Before graduate school, Artin served as an Iran Researcher for the New York Times and a Research Associate at Princeton University’s Iran Data Portal. He has also previously worked at the California Court of Appeal (Justice Dennis Perluss), the ACLU National Security Project, Legal Services of Northern California, and the Office of Senator Dianne Feinstein.
