On Monday, May 20, the International Criminal Court (ICC)’s Chief Prosecutor, Karim A.A. Khan KC, announced that he has applied for arrest warrants for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and three Hamas leaders, including the organization’s head Yahya Sinwar, for charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in relation to the situation in Palestine. Just Security is launching a symposium to provide legal and policy analysis of the developing events, as well as to provide context and serve as a resource for policymakers, journalists, and the public.
