Pavlo Zvenyhorodskyi (LinkedIn) was a research analyst in the Technology and International Affairs Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where he focused on China’s AI policy and U.S.-China competition in AI. Prior to joining Carnegie, Pavlo served as a diplomat at the Embassy of Ukraine in Beijing, as well as an International Cooperation Consultant at the Office of the President of Ukraine. Pavlo is currently pursuing a MSc in Foreign Service with a concentration in Global Politics and Security at Georgetown University. He holds a BA in Chinese Translation from Kyiv National Linguistic University, and an MA in Chinese Studies from Tongji University (Shanghai). He is fluent in Ukrainian, English, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian.
