Dr. Ethan Hee-Seok Shin

Dr. Ethan Hee-Seok Shin teaches international law at the Catholic University of Korea. He is a researcher at the Institute for Legal Studies, Yonsei University, and a legal analyst for the Transitional Justice Working Group, a Seoul-based human rights documentation NGO. His areas of interest include transitional justice and human rights issues in the Asia-Pacific. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from Yonsei University, an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School, and a B.A. in Economics from Yonsei University.
