Kelly L. Razzouk (LinkedInX) formerly served as a Special Assistant to President Biden and Senior Director for Democracy and Human Rights at the White House National Security Council. Prior to that, Razzouk was Acting Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy for United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

Razzouk’s career in public service has spanned multiple administrations. She served in roles at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, New York, and overseas, including: the Office of the Geographer and Global Issues, the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, the Bureau of International Organizations, the U.S. Embassy in Amman Jordan, and as a member of the United States Delegation to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

She has spent much of her career advancing key U.S. foreign policy priorities at the United Nations. In New York, Razzouk served as Human Rights Advisor to Ambassador Susan Rice and then as Senior Policy Advisor to Ambassador Samantha Power where she led human rights policy and political prisoner advocacy.

From 2018 to 2020 she worked at the International Rescue Committee as Director for Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy. Razzouk started her career as a Presidential Management Fellow after obtaining her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Illinois. While at DePaul, she was a Sullivan Human Rights Law Fellow.
