Michael Pusic (he/him) is a J.D. Candidate at Harvard Law School, where he serves as a research assistant to Ambassador Samantha Power and Former Canadian Supreme Court Justice Rosalie Abella. Before law school, he served in the Biden Administration as an advisor to the CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. In that role, he helped design and implement the agency’s reorganization, coordinated the launch of a dozen overseas offices, and drafted memos for the White House and National Security Council.

Michael began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he advised the U.S. government and private foundations on programs responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. While on leave from McKinsey, he spent six months working for the government of Sierra Leone on public health initiatives. When he returned, he co-founded an NGO that has sent $15 million worth of donated medical supplies to over 180 hospitals in Ukraine, Syria, Gaza, and other crisis zones.

Michael graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University, with majors in Economics and Comparative Literature, and completed his master’s in literature at Oxford as a Clarendon Scholar.
