Chiara-Lou Parriaud (LinkedIn) is a Legal and Policy Researcher at the Human Rights Foundation (HRF), where she contributes to the Impact Litigation program to free political dissidents arbitrarily detained in authoritarian countries. A graduate from the Sciences Po-Columbia University dual BA program, she earned the Cum Laude distinction for her BA in Politics & Government from Sciences Po and the Summa Cum Laude distinction for her BA in Human Rights from Columbia University, where she was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. 

Chiara-Lou has conducted reporting field work for Al Ahram Hebdo in Cairo, Egypt, and has volunteered in Greece, France and the United States in immigration centers. She is an incoming student in Sciences Po’s Law and Economics Masters Degree, where she aims to continue integrating a human rights perspective into her legal practice.
