Argyri Panezi (LinkedIn) is the Canada Research Chair in Digital Information Law and Policy at the Faculty of Law of the University of New Brunswick (UNB). She is also an affiliated member of the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity. She holds a law degree from the University of Athens, an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and a Ph.D. from the European University Institute.

Argyri’s research explores the effects that disruptive technologies have on citizens, on institutions, and the law. She has been writing about Law and AI, privacy, copyright, and cybersecurity. At UNB’s Faculty of Law she established and directs the Legal Innovation Laboratory which is dedicated to the study of law, technology, and access to justice.
