
Pratima T. Narayan
Pratima T. Narayan (LinkedIn – X) (she/her) is an attorney and former senior advisor in the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Global Criminal Justice, where she led policy efforts on Myanmar (Burma), multilateral diplomatic engagement, transitional justice, and atrocity prevention under the Biden-Harris Administration. Her career spans impactful roles with the Open Society Foundations, the UN Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan, the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
Pratima holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.S. from Cornell University. She is a member of the Justice Rapid Response Expert Roster and the CANADEM International Civilian Response Corps. Additionally, Pratima serves on Foreign Policy for America’s Leadership Circle and is an International Career Advancement Program Fellow. In her current projects, she advises organizations on responsible business conduct, navigating the intersections of international law, conflict-related harm, national security, and the evolving role of the private sector in human rights
