Natalia Krapiva (Bluesky – LinkedInX) is a Senior Tech-Legal Counsel at Access Now. She leads Access Now’s efforts to strategically engage courts and legal processes to uphold digital rights and works with Access Now’s Digital Security Helpline to investigate state-sponsored digital attacks against civil society, including spyware and phishing. Prior to Access Now, Natalia worked as a prosecutor at Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, Legislative Analyst at Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and a Legal Assistant at Mobilization for Justice. While in law school, Natalia worked at the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center’s Investigations Lab, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, where she assisted the Office with the establishment of the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism for Syria (IIIM). Natalia holds a BA in Political Science from Columbia University, and a JD from the UC Berkeley School of Law. She is licensed by the state bar of New York.
