Kimberly (Kim) Hart (BlueskyLinkedIn) is the Director of Policy and Programs at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace, and Security, where she works to bring together women leaders and amplify their voices in policy spaces. Previously, she served as USAID’s Human Rights Team Lead, where she managed human rights programs and mechanisms, designed programs and conducted analysis in crisis contexts, and helped shape U.S. government policies and analysis on human rights and the prevention of mass atrocities. Prior to that, Kim served at Search for Common Ground, where she worked on conflict issues through policy and partnerships, as well as Freedom House, where she focused on human rights, atrocity prevention, and transitional justice.

Kim has supported peacebuilding and human rights efforts in over 50 countries worldwide. She holds BAs in History and Government from Cornell University and a MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics.
