Ellen Nohle

Ellen Nohle, LL.M. (2021) and current J.S.D student at Yale Law School. Ellen has a BCL from the University of Oxford and a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge, graduating with honors. She has an MA in International Law and Settlement of Dispute from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. Her field is in public international law with a focus on international humanitarian law. Ellen has worked as legal advisor for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva and Kabul and as desk officer for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm. Ellen is a Hansell Fellow at YLS Center for Global Legal Challenges and a 2021 Cutler Fellow.
