Ellen Nohle is an LL.M. candidate (2021) at Yale Law School and Hansell Fellow at the YLS Center for Global Legal Challenges. Her focus is on international dispute settlement and the law of armed conflicts. Ellen has a BCL from the University of Oxford and a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge with honors. Ellen obtained an MA in International Law and Settlement of Dispute from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. Ellen has worked as legal advisor for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva and Kabul and subsequently for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm.
