Olivier de Frouville (Bluesky – LinkedIn) is professor of public law at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University and Director of the Paris Human Rights Center (CRDH). He is also the co-director of the Master’s program in Human Rights and International Justice and the author or editor of more than 20 volumes and 80 articles in various fields of international law, in particular philosophy and theory of public international law (on a ‘democratic theory of international law’), international criminal law and international human rights law. In 2022 he published From Cosmpolitanism to Human Rights (Hart Publishing 2002). With Emmanuel Decaux, he co-authors a textbook on Public International Law (Dalloz, 14th ed published in September 2025).
