Valentin Büchi (LinkedIn) is an LL.M. candidate in International Legal Studies at NYU School of Law. He is a fully qualified lawyer in Germany and studied law in Göttingen and Geneva with a focus on public international law. His legal training included stints at the German Federal Foreign Office and the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights. He previously worked for a member of a regional parliament in Germany on legal and security policy and as a reporter for Oxford Reports on International Law in Domestic Courts. His interests include the use of force, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and general public international law.
