Salah Ben Hammou (@poliscisbh) is a PhD student in Security Studies at the University of Central Florida. His research examines civil-military relations, coups d’etat, and democratization with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as International Studies Review and Journal of Global Security Studies as well as popular outlets like The Washington Post, Political Violence at a Glance, The Loop, and the Cairo Review of Global Affairs.
