Angela Avonce

Angela Avonce (LinkedIn) is an Editorial Assistant at Just Security and a Research Scholar at NYU School of Law. She supports Just Security editorial work, including on democracy and rule of law-related projects. Previously, Angela worked as a legal intern at Lawyers Without Borders and as a paralegal at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she worked on litigation, international litigation and arbitration, and pro bono matters. She is interested in the intersection of law and storytelling as tools to advance access to justice, promote accountability, and strengthen global governance.

Angela graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Global Affairs and a Certificate of Advanced Language Study in Mandarin Chinese.
