Austin Akers (LinkedIn) is a communications strategist and election analyst specializing in democracy support, political communication, and media development. He is Co-Founder and Partner at Interscribe Global Communications Agency, where he advises international organizations on strategic messaging, civic engagement, and public diplomacy. Austin has served as an election observer and analyst across Europe and the Balkans, including in Georgia, Albania, and Moldova, providing field-based assessments on campaign environments, information integrity, and youth participation. Previously, he was Press Secretary at the International Republican Institute (IRI) in Washington, D.C., directing global communications and training activists, civil society leaders, and government officials in campaign organization and outreach strategy. Austin holds an MA in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Amsterdam.
